This 2-inch cheekpiece is 1.2″ taller than our standard (0.800″) tall cheekpiece

We make our cheekpieces from G10/FR4 (a.k.a. Micarta) material. Micarta has lower thermal conductivity than metals, so it does not transfer heat or cold as quickly as aluminum. As a result, it tends to remain closer to ambient temperature and feels more comfortable to the touch across a wide range of conditions.
